Mee Thai,
this really nice & cozy restaurant in Brooklyn.
As my Girlfriend and I were looking for for a place to grab a bite to eat, she mentioned that she knew of this Thai restaurant in somewhere in Park Slope. Due to the simple fact that it was July 4th and it was around 10 at night, most everything were either closing or had already been closed. We decided to head over. Little did I know I was on my way to have the best dinning experience in 23 years of living!
Not only did the restaurant have great food and great service it was located on of brooklyn’s best Neighborhood.
When She and finally got there, our waiter quickly sat us at our table and within minutes of reading the menu, we were ready to order.
I think it was precisely ten to 15 Minsk after we had made our order, our food was being put in front of us to eat. And I couldn’t stop eating! I had ordered grilled Chicken which came with Sticky Rice and this dip spicy sauce that tasted absolutely Delicious!! And I also had pineapple fried rice. Though I can’t memembe the exact name of my Girlfriend’s, Danielle, order; I do remeber how delicious it tasted. She kept asking me if I liked it the food, I’m guessing she couldn’t tell by the fact that I couldn’t stop stuff the food down my throat. I told her at the beginning that I would the place a 9 out of ten depending on the looks of it and the service and that I would rate completely until I had finish eating and gotten the bill.
After stuffing my face with almost everythig I had order, I decided to take the rest home and made the decision that Mee Thai Restaurant deserved a 10+ after I had gotten the bill and it did not even exceed 50 bucks!!!
Now if u you notice I did not give u the exact location of the restaurant, that because I don’t want u or your friends to start rushing in and making it difficult for my gf n I to get a table!
If u don’t belive me read these reviews:

I’m just going to come out and say it – I know what good Thai food tastes like more than you do (unless you are Thai in which case, you probably know what good Thai food tastes like as well).
I have spent the past two years searching New York City for good Thai food – specifically, good Drunken Noodle (aka Pad Kee Mao). Finally, FINALLY I have found it at Mee Thai.
5 stars if I lived far away.
5 million stars because it’s down the street from my apartment. Brooklyn, it’s official. I fucking love you.

As far as Thai in Park Slope goes, this is one of the best. I usually get drunken man noodles with tofu or red chicken curry – both very good. And the staff is nice. I recently tried Mango on 7th Ave – it was incredibly bland, I’ll definitely stick with Mee Thai.

Went here Friday night with three other friends – we all loved it!
Reasons I would go back to Mee Thai:
1. They are a BYOB restaurant
2. We got for 4 delicious veggie dumplings for $2!
3. Green curry was full of flavor and had the most wonderful aroma.
4. Drunken man noodles were delicious.
5. Very reasonably priced.
6. Really nice and friendly staff.
My one (small) gripe was that the eggplant in my green curry could have been slightly more cooked. Otherwise, this was a solid Thai place and will definitely be going back.

Park Slope is in desperate need of a good, affordable, QUIET Thai restaurant that’s not an incredible scene. As a vegetarian I had high hopes for this place though after eating there tonight I have some doubts.
True, the service is good and the place is economical.
But, the vegetarian dumpling was a little on the pasty side and had sweet sauce. The vegetarian entree with tofu and peanut sauce was very bland.
Maybe they figure that people in Park Slope are not very discriminating and the restaurant is shooting for the family-oriented crowd. Maybe they figure that hipsters and singles are more discriminating, but won’t go here because of the other trendy and LOUD Thai places that already exist in the neighborhood. Although, Mee has a big flat screen TV which has become almost obligatory on Fifth Avenue. It feels a little out of place here.
C’mon Mee, give us the good stuff and stop making assumptions about different demographics here in the Slope: you can do it.

I went to Mee Thai today (twice). I went there for lunch with a friend, and then I went there for dinner with another friend. Yes a very busy day! Well I ordered the Drunken man noodles with chicken (twice). Both were great. The service was great and the food was even better. My friend for lunch introduced me to the place and I introduced it my friend for dinner. Needless to say, Ill be a customer again and will bring back more friends. Thanks Mee Thai for the noodles!

This place is delicious. Amazing appetizers, delightful salads, scrumptious entrees… A few of my favorite dishes there are the Calamari Salad as an appetizer, and the Tofu Pad Si Ew as an entree.
AND WHAT’S MORE? It’s BYOB!
Yes, that’s right! A delicious and reasonably-priced restaurant that also gives you the option of bringing your own beer, wine or hard liquor. In addition, Mee is very accommodating to reservations and large parties, so it’s quite convenient to bring a large group there for dinner.
The atmosphere in Mee is also very pleasant, however some aspects of it make me laugh. For example, the music played in Mee is a complete wildcard. Sometimes it’s soft rock, sometimes it’s 1990s, and sometimes it’s remixes of songs that I had no idea were even remixed.
Don’t be discouraged by the fact that Mee is often not crowded. This is an aspect of the restaurant that I don’t quite understand, as it’s one of my favorites in the neighborhood. But, if you’re reading this, please give Mee a try! It’s fantastic, authentic and it deserves to survive in the ever-changing menu of Park Slope.

Mee Thai’s drunken noodles will blow you away. It’s the perfect combination of spice, basil, and fresh ingredients. Ooh, also try the BBQ chicken with sticky rice – we like to get it with a side of peanut sauce. Mee = Yum!

The place is pretty new, and I was immediately attracted to the little sign outside that said BYOB….so I did.
Inside is pretty nice, mostly two tops, and has subdued lighting and an inviting staff.
We had spring rolls, salads, basil shrimp, beef pad Thai, and a curry chicken….all of which were excellent.
And if i remember correctly the bill was only 45 dollars or so. They place is definitely worth checking out, and Im sure I will be back in the near future

There is no sign so far, just a cute board on the sidewalk outside. The ENTIRE front opens up and the inner atmosphere was nice. Not too dim, but could be a date place. The kitchen smelled great. The food was good.
beef salad, green chicken curry, BBQ chicken. all came out to just under $30. both the salad and curry actually had kick and i’m a fan of spice.
I am also psyched about the BYOB. I hope to BMOB sometime soon.

My girlfriend and I went here because it was new, decently priced and BYOB. It was indeed all three of these; the BYOB was certainly a plus. The food turned out to be very tasty; in particular, the tofu was cooked very well, not too tough but nicely fried. But, as can sometimes happen with new restaurants, the service was somewhat overbearing–they were so excited to have customers that they sort of loomed over us. All the same, a very pleasant experience all-in-all.
